Saturday 2 June will see the launch of The Machine – Designing a New Industrial Revolution.

Presented by Design Hub Limburg, the exhibition will be accompanied by an extensive programme of workshops, events and artists in residence. The Machine shows how new machines will shape our lives and our society in the future.

The industrial revolution was a revolution of engineers. Now, it is designers who are ushering in a new revolution. Tools, materials and systems have become facets that contemporary designers are appropriating to suit their own purposes.
