Spijkers & Spijkers design new collection for Claudia Sträter

Come end February 2009, the new 'Spijkers & Spijkers by Claudia Sträter' collection will be available for sale.

Renowned Dutch womenswear label Claudia Sträter has commissioned the Arnhem-based designer duo, Spijkers & Spijkers to design a new prêt-a-porter collection.

The Spijkers & Spijkers by Claudia Sträter collection will be available in shops in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, UK and Ireland from late February 2009.

The designer twins Truus and Riet Spijkers, who began their label in 2000, are making quite a mark for themselves through their distinctive style combining power, confidence and femininity. Commenting on their new collection, Spijkers & Spijkers say, "The strength of a woman can at times also consist of her femininity. In that regard, Claudia Sträter blends seamlessly with our style and our image."

Jan Taminiau and Belgian designer Cathy Pill have also worked on previous collaborations with Claudia Sträter.
