The Rotterdam 2007 City of Architecture campaign won a Silver Award in the new International Museum Communication Awards.
The IMCA aims to recognise creative excellence in the museum industry as well as to encourage arts organisations to find original and inventive ways to communicate. The awards increase awareness of how museums, art institutions and galleries use design to communicate their brand values at a local and international level. The IMCA recognises best practice in four categories, awarding a trophy and certificate to each winner. The categories are Corporate Design, Exhibition Campaign, Integration and Innovation.
The Rotterdam 2007 City of Architecture campaign won a Silver Award in the Corporate Design category. The jury said 'This beautiful campaign is simple, bold and crystal-cool! The jury was very impressed by its restraint which only adds to its overall impact. Sexy and elegant'. The house style was designed by Rotterdam design bureau 75B.
