On Saturday 28 January 2012 from 23:00-00:00, the AMFI -Amsterdam Fashion Institute will open a photo exhibition by some 20 students at the Sugar Factory Amsterdam.

The best photographs will be exhibited in the Sugar Factory in Amsterdam until the end of March 2012.

The photography works were produced during the first phase of the Fashion & Visual Culture programme in which students created new fashion images, inspired by their favourite designer.
The opening will be on Saturday the 28th of January, from 23:00 until 0:00 hrs.

During the second phase of the Fashion & Visual Culture programme, students learned how to make short films under the guidance of professionals. These films are inspired by five young designers: Femke Agema, Individuals, Roya Hesam, Bravoure and ZEM.

The premiere of the five fashion films is during Amsterdam Fashion Week on Thursday 24 January at 21:30 at the Ketelhuis in the Westergasfabriekterrein in Amsterdam.
The films will then be on show from Wednesday 25 until Friday 27 January at 17:00, followed by the fashion film 'A single man' by designer Tom Ford.
