The Stedelijk Museum has announced that Gilian Schrofer is to design the interiors of the four refreshment areas at the new Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. In Schrofer's design the height of the chairs and tables will increase the further you advance into the building. This somewhat theatrical concept is somehow fitting for a designer who once owned his own patisserie.
