This week on Design.nl the man behind bakery Vlaamsch Broodhuys has unwittingly catapulted into the Dutch design limelight via his nomination for the Rotterdam Design Prize - so far he is ahead in the votes for the Premsela Public Prize. Also this week we take a look at IMM Cologne and Academy open days and offer you our favourite picks from both, we visit Guus Kusters and Maarten Kolk’s latest exhibition in Brussels and announce Karel Martens as the winner of the Gerrit Noordzij Prize.
