This week on design.nl controversy has struck the Rijksakademie with one resident's stipend slashed in half as punishment for an artistic misdemenour. We visit Istanbul design week where Brainport Eindhoven shows off what the city has to offer artistically and culturally. We also speak to top Amfi graduate Nienke Sinnema whose book about Amsterdam shows a more sensitive and vulnerable side to the city that's image is often more focussed on its ballsy liberalism.
