This week, social and humanitarian design takes precedence in the exhibition Why Design Now? as part of the design Triennial at New York's Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum and Zach Lieberman, a keynote speaker at the Graphic Design Festival Breda, speaks about the EyeWriter, an open source eye-tracking system which allows artists with physical paralysis to draw with just their eyes. Also, new collections crafted from paper and glass, and we get a glimpse of the first phase of the newly renovated Rotterdam City Hall.
