Milan Drawn Interview #1: Studio Glithero

Every day this week Matylda Krzykowski (matandme.net) will be doing drawn interviews with Dutch designers. First up is Anglo-Dutch duo Studio Glithero who are presenting their process-focused works at various exhibitions around town.

For our Milan coverage this year, Design.nl has teamed up with Matylda Krzykowski from matandme.net to feature a series of 'Drawn Interviews' with Dutch Designers.

Today Studio Glithero - Sarah van Gameren and Tim Simpson give us a glimpse into their world. The Anglo-Dutch duo first met during their Design Products Master studies at the Royal College of Art in London and now run a design studio together in London.

Gallery Nilufar is presenting their Blueware vases during Milan Design Week. The vases and tiles are embedded with light-reactive chemicals. Imprints of pressed wild flowers remain on the objects after they are exposed to light. Also, a prototype of Running Mould (a one meter slice) will be shown with InResidence at Ventura Lambrate. The installation was part of Z33's recent Design In Performance exhibition.
