Marike wins German Design Award 2008

Following on from an iF design Award, Marike has now been recognised for her C7 bathroom collection.
From over 1000 entries, 25 Design Awards will be awarded on 8 February 2008 at a ceremony in Frankfurt. The German Design Award is the official recognition of excellence in design by the Federal Republic of Germany. Companies cannot enter the Design Award; instead, they are nominated by the Ministries and Senators for Trade & Industry of the German States or by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
Marike Andeweg (1978) graduated in Industrial Product Design from the Haagse Hogeschool Nederland and began her career at a Dutch furniture manifacturer. Marike Europe BV is a Dutch company, established in 2003, focusing on high quality design sanitary and interiors for private housing, residential, restaurants, hotels, museums, ships, shop chains and theatres.
