The Harrods of Holland, De Bijenkorf has commissioned Marcel Wanders to design an exclusive Christmas collection with products ranging from crockery to lingerie.

Move over Three Kings. It's all about the ladies this Christmas.

This Christmas (yes it's that time again) the Dutch department store De Bijenkorf will feature an extensive collection designed by Marcel Wanders. The range includes men's, women's and children's-wear, lingerie, accessories, homewares, gifts and Christmas decorations. Wanders will also be responsible for the in-store visual merchandising and window displays.

The concept is inspired by the Three Queens (in place of the traditional Three Kings) - the Black Queen, Golden Queen and White Queen who will also feature in the windows and decorations. The clothing - Wanders' first dabble into fashion - is characterised by rich fabrics and prints, intricate detailing and embroidery while the homewares and decorations bear his trademark flamboyance. The range will be available in all De Bijenkorf stores this December.
