We are sad to announce that Jennifer Dempsey, the first editor of Design.nl passed away last week.

Last week we received news that the first editor of Design.nl had passed away. Jennifer Dempsey began working for us in the summer of 2007. She contributed enormously to the site’s development by enhancing the journalistic level of the content. Furthermore, her input during our initial development as an international portal for Dutch design culture was invaluable.

It was a privilege for us to work with Jennifer, and we felt sad that she had to leave Design.nl in 2008 after her maternity leave due to illness. We are greatly thankful for her contribution and we send our deepest condolences to her family and friends.
