Gispen takes over Richard Hutten Collection
New home for Sexy Relaxy, Rhino, Bronto and Zzzidt.
The collection of Richard Hutten will be taken over by the renowned Dutch furniture manufacturer Gispen Lensvelt. The Richard Hutten Collection will form an integral part of their new product label NgispeN: a Gispen design collection especially directed at the domestic market. Hutten will act as creative director for the new label which will continue to add new designs to his existing collection.
'The emphasis is back on design at Gispen', says Hutten. 'We will create a special look for this collection under the leading theme of Playing with Tradition'. The NgispeN collection has just been launched at the Interieur Biënnale in Kortrijk and contains, among others, existing and new Hutten designs like Sexy Relaxy, Rhino, Bronto, Zzzidt, the Berlage Stool and Chair and the No Sign of Design (NSOD) Chair.
