For the first time, the ExperimentaDesign will be held in Amsterdam. This international Biennale is devoted to the culture of design, architecture and creativity.

ExperimentaDesign Amsterdam 2008 highlights urban culture as the playground for the global citizen. The world’s cities are not only home to over half of the world’s population, they are also a metaphor for today’s cultures and a laboratory for new forms of conviviality and interaction.

ExperimentaDesign Amsterdam 2008 will present a dynamic variety of exhibitions, events and urban interventions around the theme of ‘Space and Place’, design for the urban landscape.

The opening week of ExperimentaDesign Amsterdam 2008, from 18 to 21 September, will be the place to be for everyone interested in innovative urban design culture, when Amsterdam will launch an extensive program of exhibitions, open talks, conferences and other events.
