Dutch Profiles
A new series of short online documentaries about Dutch and Dutch-based designers commissioned by DutchDFA premiered in Mumbai, India as part of Design Yatra 2009.
Part of the multitude of Dutch activities which happened at Design Yatra 2009 in Mumbai, the first day of the Indian design festival saw the premiere of Dutch Profiles, a series of short online documentaries about architects and graphic, product and fashion designers in the Netherlands, commissioned by DutchDFA and produced by Submarine.
Dutch Profiles focuses on the conceptual, context-oriented and research-based practice of Dutch designers and includes interviews with, among others: MVRDV, 2012 Architects, Jurgen Bey, Claudy Jongstra, Ted Noten, Joost Grootens, Paul Mijksenaar, Philips, Carver, Marlies Dekkers, Alexander van Slobbe and G-Star. More profiles will be added during the coming years so check the website for regular updates.
