What happens when a poet and a digital media designer work together to make poetry for the screen? Six teams, each consisting of a poet and designer, have spent the last few months investigating how language, image and sound can enrich each other. The designers and poets did not know each other. A commission of members of two funds (Fonds BKVB and Fonds voor de Letteren) put the teams together.
The teams are: Tsead Bruinja and Strange Attractors, Elma van Haren and Eva Knutz, Astrid Lampe and Marcel van den Berg, K. Michel and Dirk Vis, Xavier Roelens and Gabrielle Marks, Nachoem Wijnberg and William van Giessen.
A website has been launched to make it possible for poets, writers, designers and other artists to develop new forms of cooperation online and to publish the work that results from this. This virtual platform can be found at www.digidicht.nl.
