Just in case 2008 flew by a little too quickly, let's rewind and check out the year's happenings as seen on Design.nl.

We sit down for a long chat with cultural icon Wim Crouwel whose career traces the path of Dutch design through the second half of the twentieth century. Crouwel, who just turned 80, is a staunch modernist and reflects back on how the movement shaped his ideas and why it all fell apart. We check how Lichting winner and new fashion talent Anneloes van Osselaer is going and speak with Premsela Director Dingeman Kuilman about what role the foundation will play in Holland’s design future, and how it can better shape industry values.
