No rest for the wicked: the international design calendar gets ready to fire off again with the start of the Cologne Furniture Fair in Germany this January.
The international design calendar gets going again with the start of the Cologne Furniture Fair. Dutch designers will be exhibiting at the fair itself (imm Cologne) and at satellite events throughout the city as part of the Passagen programme. Here's our preview of Dutch participants:

In the fair grounds of Cologne, a host of Dutch companies will be exhibiting, including Arco, Bloom, Droog, Frederik Roije, Pastoe, Royal Mosa, Montis, Goods, FOC Freedom of Creation and Fatboy.
The Dutch Corner

The Dutch Corner represents contemporary and young designers with vision and noteworthy solutions. Design with a link to art, art craft & technology, innovation & tradition, to redefine icons and material minded. Featured designers include Annesas Appel, Bauke Knottnerus, Nynke Boelens, Marieke van Diepen, Peter Distol, Floris Douma, Mark van Gennip, Melle Hammer, Bauke Knottnerus, Katharina Ludwig, Nic Roex, Nieuwe Heren, Niels Schuurmans, Marieke Staps, Julia Veldman C., Gijs Kast, Mark van Gennip, Floris Douma, Charlotte van den Brekel, Emiel van Boekel and Titia van Beckum.

Table talk and light conversations about obese objects, 'span' sessions, and waffle bakers - out of that evolved the furniture and related objects created by three Dutch designers and artists from Groningen: Jack Brandsma, Lambert Kamps and Marcus Petstra.
