This Autumn the Zeeuws Museum presents a unique exhibition on designer Christien Meindertsma.
Vlas or Flax has been cultivated and processed in Zeeland for centuries. Especially in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen it is an iconic crop.
From seed to product Christien Meindertsma, Flax (Lot Gz59 - West) presents the quest of a highly motivated designer and her plot of flax. The result leads to a range of innovative and exciting objects which are in one way or another related to the collection of the Zeeuws Museum.
