AGI Congress film online

International congress ‘Unknown Land’ took place in Amsterdam on 26 and 27 September 2007. The congress was the initiative of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI). Images of the first day of the congress can be seen at the BNO website.

International congress ‘Unknown Land’ took place in Amsterdam on 26 and 27 September 2007. The congress was the initiative of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI). Images of the first day of the congress can be seen at the BNO website.

'Unknown Land' was intended as a journey in the unknown border areas between graphic design an the influence of design on daily life and our living environment. The entire first day of the congress scan be viewed at bno.nl/unknownland, where all speakers have been recorded in their own short films. The congress was opened by the mayor of Amsterdam. Speakers were: Koen Olthuis, Kiko Farkas, Tony Brook, Bob van Dijk, Gert Dumbar, Ben & Elly Bos, Ronald IJzermans, Jasper Klinkhamer, Hans Wolbers, René Knip and Danny Yount. About the AGI
The Alliance Graphique Internationale, a worldwide network of graphic designers, was established in Paris in 1951. The AGI’s activities cover a wide range of areas in visual communication, such as image and word brands, corporate identities, daily newspapers, magazines, exhibition subjects, packaging, film, websites, annual reports, posters, bank notes and postage stamps. The 375 members of the AGI are based in 33 countries on 6 continents and represent the national top echelon in their area, and together the world top echelon in graphic design.
